Pumpkin is introduced to her new little boy, but he must be removed for a while as she is too nervous to care for him right now.
Onyx, a little boy, has been placed in the warming pan on the heating pad. Pad has a cover and is covered with an additional towel. Pad should be set to lowest setting. Another towel is placed over the entire bucket to provide a very warm safe environment. This keeps puppy warm and is critical to his survival. Loss of body heat is the biggest reason puppies die within the first 24 hours. His comfort will also keep him from crying and causing his mother to worry and become frantic to get to him.
